The Naked Body
Which other ways are there to look at your naked self?
Time & Location
29. Sept. 2022, 19:15 – 21:45
Embodiment Center, Gustav-Adolf-Straße 15, 13086 Berlin, Deutschland
About the event
In this workshop we will explore our relationship with our naked bodies.
The goal is not force you to love or appreciate every part of your body. But more to create a space to observe what‘s happening in your mind, emotion and body when being naked.
As this is a non-sexual space, we also want to move away from the idea that being naked has to mean being sexual. Which other ways are there to look at your naked self?
With the help of our senses, we will playfully get in touch with our nakedness and find new ways to perceive our body parts. We will use a dance therapeutic approach to travel through our body and to engage with those around us.
The workshop will start fully dressed and will guide into full nudity. We will work with different creative methods like movement, voice, verbal sharing, meditation and drawing. It will be a combination of self experiential and partnered exercises.
In some partnered exercises, non-sexual touch will be exchanged. If you‘re not okay with that, we can find ways of doing the exercises without touch.
Join the workshop for a playful, curious and loving exploration of our nakedness.
Please bring a sarong/ towel to sit on.
Every participant needs to have joined the mandatory consent workshop before hand (Express Consent or Yes I Care workshop)
